SAFETY NOTE:
Repairs, instead of windshield replacement, are what insurers are trying to get glass shops to do. If there is over a 3" crack and it is just repaired, it can be unsafe. Insurers want you to repair up to 6" cracks...why? It costs them $25 to $40 for a repair, so they don't have to pay the higher cost for a needed replacement.
